Thiagarajar College of Engineering (TCE) founded in 1947 by philanthropist and industrialist late Shri. Karumutu Thiagarajar Chettiar. TCE is an ISO certified institution affiliated to Anna University and situated in Madurai, the temple city. The college is funded by Central and State Government and Management. The courses offered in TCE are approved by the AICTE, New Delhi. TCE was granted Autonomy in the year of 1987 and the programmes have been accredited by NBA and NAAC A+. TCE offers 8 Undergraduate, 10 Postgraduate programmes and doctoral programmes in Engineering, Science and Architecture. Fully automated RFID integrated TCE Library has more than one lakh volumes of print and e-resources and supports the scholarly and informational needs of the institute community through remote access also.
